Universal Heating & Cooling got its start in 1975, when Tennessee natives Don and Deborah Tisdale took a leap of faith and opened their mom-and-pop HVAC shop in Goodlettsville, TN. It wasn't long before Don and Deborah's two daughters, Tonya and Tiffany, took on the growing responsibilities of the new company.

Universal didn't stay small for long. Through hard work, prompt service and honest dealings with their customers, Universal Heating & Cooling took off. More employees were hired. Hundreds of new 5-star reviews were left by satisfied customers. And a third generation of the Tisdale family started learning the ins and outs of the business.
